Mrs. Walker's 6th grade English classes wrote essays for the Patriots Pen nation-wide Veterans of Foreign Wars essay contest. This year's theme was, "How to be a Good American." Three of her students were chosen as winners from Dunklin County. These students are:
1st place: Cassandra Luke - $400
2nd place: Kaytlin Arnold - $200
3rd place: Mack Davis - $100
They will be honored next tonight at an Award's Banquet at the VFW in Lilbourn.
The Campbell R-II Board of Education meeting will be held November 17, 2021 at 6:00 p.m.

The Campbell R-II School District will not be in session Friday, November 12, 2021 due to Fall Break.
Congratulations to Jesse Allison. He is on his way to meet Governor Mike Parsons in Jefferson City. Jesse won an essay competition in his high school JAG over the History of Missouri and was selected to represent the Campbell High School JAG class.
While in Jefferson City, Jesse will get to tour the capital building and connect with other JAG students across the state.

The Campbell R-II School District will not be in session Friday, October 22nd due to faculty professional development.
School will release at noon (12:00) tomorrow, October 21st.
Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held Thursday, October 21st from 3:00p.m. to 7:00p.m.
Sports Picture Form. We will have copies at school tomorrow.
We will have Elementary Little League Basketball team and individual pictures at the end of the school day tomorrow, October 19th. Players please bring your jersey and shorts for the picture.

Little league basketball games are running 30 min. early today.
Flu vaccination forms are coming home with students this week. If you would like for your child to receive a flu shot, their form must be returned by Wednesday, October 20th.
Just a reminder, school will not be in session Monday, October 11th.
The Campbell Board of Education meeting will be held October 13th and will start at 5:30 pm.
